Dear Staff,

It has been a pleasure working with you over the last 24 months. We have seen some ups and downs along our journey to ‘a bit better’.

I knew it wouldn’t be long before my management and bullying techniques would be picked up by my senior managers. When standards go up slightly it makes all the support plans and capability procedures worth while.

There’s still a long way to go but my successor will pick up on my great start.

To celebrate, I have written a book to help aspiring new heads become as effective as me.

I know I am still quite young and only had three years teaching experience before I started applying for management jobs, but I know what it takes to turn around a school.

Non-negotiables – a guide to school management will guide you through the basics of running a primary school. I promise you, standards will rise and you earn respect from your locality.

Learn how to take assemblies, manage staff meetings, organise observations, carry out book scrutinies, dish out support plans and much more.

My book is available on kindle and in paperback. Get yours now and be the leader you’ve always wanted to be!
