Fake Headteacher: Non-negotiables

Dear Staff,

The only way I can monitor good teaching is to force staff to follow lengthy book scrutiny checklists and non-negotiables. But I wonder if this actually has a detrimental affect on good teachers’ teaching?

I work so hard satisfying book scrutiny checklists and non-negotiables I barely have the time or energy for anything else
